Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Silent Sky Aviation Services ("Provider"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. These terms are effective immediately upon purchase of the FAA Registry Firewall service.

2. Description of Service

The "FAA Registry Firewall" service is a one-time administrative fee covering the preparation, submission, and monitoring of privacy requests with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as detailed below. This is an all-inclusive service for the initial setup.

• **Designated Representation:** You authorize Silent Sky to act as your official Designated Representative for the purpose of filing all required FAA privacy and registry forms related to LADD and PII redaction.
• **FAA LADD Blocking:** Submission of your aircraft's registration number (N-Number) to the FAA's Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed (LADD) program for Source Blocking.
• **PII Redaction:** Filing of necessary requests under the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 (Section 803) to withhold the owner's Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from the publicly accessible FAA Civil Aviation Registry (CARES).
• **Compliance & Monitoring:** Initial audit and ongoing monthly monitoring to verify compliance with major commercial flight tracking vendors (e.g., FlightAware, FlightRadar24) and re-filing requests as necessary.

3. Payment, Fees, and Refund Policy

The service fee is **$299.00 USD (One-Time)**. This fee covers the administrative labor for the lifetime of the initial LADD blocking period (currently the registration cycle).

**No Refunds:** Due to the immediate allocation of administrative resources required to file and submit government forms, all fees are non-refundable once payment is processed and the filing process is initiated (typically within 1 hour).

4. Limitations of Liability

Silent Sky is not responsible for the misuse of public data by non-compliant third-party tracking networks (such as ADS-B Exchange). We are also not liable for any fees, fines, or enforcement actions incurred by the client as a result of flying the aircraft, regardless of privacy status. The final determination of PII redaction rests solely with the FAA.
